The Ambassador’s visit to Delhi Public School, Rudrapur on the occasion of its 5th Founder’s Day on Saturday, 2nd April 2022. - Embassy of Uruguay in India

The Delhi Public School Rudrapur celebrated its 5th Founder’s Day along with Graduation Day on 2nd April 2022, with great fervor. The function started with the welcome of the dignitaries & lifting of the lamp.

 

The Chief Guest Shri Nilesh Anand Bharne- DIG-Kumaoun Range, Shri Manjunath T.C. (SSP- Udham Singh Nagar), Dr. Harish Chaudhary (Professor,IIT Delhi), Dr. Gaurav Gupta (Director, DPS Rudrapur), Dr. Shivendra Kumar Kashyap , Dean, Pant Nagar University, His Excellency, Alberto Antonio Guani Amarilla, Ambassador of Uruguay to India, Shri Sunil Khera, Deputy Advocate General at the High Court of Uttarakhand, Mr. Gautam Kathuria, Shri Pawan Agarwal, Shri Harnam Chandra, many dignitaries were present on the occasion.The Principal formally welcomed all the eminent guests and the parents. In the program, the students of the schools caught everyone’s attention with the irgreat presentation. Moreover students were also honored by conferring degrees by the dignitaries.

 

The special Guest His Excellency, Alberto Antonio Guani Amarilla congratulated the Staff, Students & the Management, for the beautiful and outstanding program. He said that student life is the life in which we can achieve every thing and also requested school to join hands with his country for exchange programmes.

 

On this occasion the Chairman of the school Mr. Surjit Singh shared that the foundation of the school was laid only five years ago and in these five years since its inception, DPS has brought laurels in many fields and it is a matter of pride for Rudrapur as well as Uttarakhand.

 

He also said that a few years ago, due to lack of good schools in the area, the children had to go out and pursue their studies. But after opening of DPS School, now children are getting the benefits of many educational and co-educational activities in Rudrapur itself. He extended his best wishes to the entire school family.

 

The celebrations concluded with the presentation of the mementos to the guests.
