ELECTRONIC PASSPORT

 

The required documents for the expedition of Passport are the followings:

 

1   Cédula de Identidad : Must need to be presented at the consular section, the   

     Cédula de Identidad of Uruguay, it is obligatory for the expedition of passport.

 

2   Previous Passport : In case of previous Passport lost or stolen - Need to be   

     presented the FIR of Police.

 

3   Cost : US$ 56 or equivalent of Indian Rupees- To be deposited in the bank account  

     of consular section or pay in cash in the consular section.

 

4   Validity : The passport will be valid for ten years.

 

5   Time : Approximately 30 days from the finger prints taken.

 

Passport is issued in Montevideo and send by the diplomatic bag.
